Vice-chair of the Socioeconomic Metabolism Section under International Society for Industrial Ecology; Consulted for organizations such as OECD, IEA, FAO, and EU Joint Research Centre.

Previous work published in high profile journals such as Nature Climate Change and Environmental Science & Technology (2013 Best Article).
