报告摘要： In this talk, I will give an introduction for topological phases of quantum matter. In particular, I will describe the mathematical foundation of topological phases of quantum and their corresponding classification schemes. If time permits, I will mention our recent progress on fermonic topologic phases of quantum matter in 3+1D as well as a potential new understanding for the origin of elementary particles.

报告人简介： Zhengcheng Gu attended college and obtained his Ph.D in Physics from Tsinghua University. He is currently an associate professor at the The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
