  简介:
Progress of Fuel Cell Research in Canada and the World
Prof. XianguoLi, Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering
University of Waterloo, Canada

Dr. Xianguo Li received his undergraduate degree in 1982 from Tianjin University, China and his MSc (1986) and PhD (1989) from Northwestern University, Illinois, USA. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo, he was appointed assistant professor in 1992 at the University of Victoria, and promoted to associate professor in 1994. He joined the University of Waterloo in 1997 and was promoted to full professor in 2000.Dr. Li is internationally recognized for his research on fuel cells, liquid fuel atomization and sprays (as in combustion engines), and green energy systems. His book, Principles of Fuel Cells, is the world’s first textbook about fuel cells and is used worldwide. He has also been invited to edit the Fuel Cell Technology Handbook by CRC Press. Dr. Li has more than 170 journal and 230 conference publications. He has also authored/co-authored 4 books, over 20 book chapters, and 11 patent applications. Among other appointments, he is division chair for the CSME Advanced Energy Systems Division, has also served as guest editors for a number of journals.
