报告人简介:
Dr. Zhendong Li obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry and Mathematics at the Peking University, China, in 2009. He received his Ph.D. at the Peking University in quantum chemistry in 2014. He was a postdoctoral scholar at the Princeton University from 2014 to 2016, and has been working as a postdoctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology since 2016.


研究方向:
His research has focused on the developments of theoretical methods for excited states of open-shell molecules and relativistic Hamiltonians for spin-dependent properties. His current research interests lie in the development of novel numerical methods for strong electron correlation problems, such that interesting processes in chemistry and biology such as the nitrogen fixation and photosynthesis can be understood through accurate ab initio simulations.
