  简介:
Ice clouds play an important role in regulating the Earth's radiative budget and influencing the hydrological cycle. Aerosols can scatter and/or absorbsolar radiation and change the local circulation (especially the vertical motion), thus affecting the moisture source for ice cloud formation. Aerosols can also act as solution droplets or ice nuclei for ice crystal formation and change the physical properties of ice clouds.
