ABSTRACT:Weak gravitational lensing is one of the most promising techniques for constraining cosmological parameters. In this talk, I review the current status of weak lensing surveys, and present the cosmological constraints from weak lensing peak statistics using ~450 sq. deg of imaging data from the Kilo Degree Survey (KiDS).
Bio:Dr. Huanyuan Shan is Post-doctoral Research Fellow of AIfA, Bonn. He obtained his PhD from NAOC, China. He was awarded the Marie Curie Fellowship at EPFL, Switzerland. He is mainly working on weak gravitational lensing. He has participated in a series of international gravitational lensing projects, including CS82, CODEX, KiDS, DECaLS, and Euclid. He is leading the weak lensing peak cosmology group of KiDS survey and shear catalog/mass reconstruction group of DECaLS survey. |
