  简介:

The recent advance on accelerator based X-ray and electron pulses have brought us novel tools to probe molecular process. In this talk, I would describe the my research on this topic, including the ultrafast X-ray spectroscopy, Coulomb explosion momentum mapping, quantum diffraction and quantum tomography. The theoretical methods are developed with help of the efficient GPU-based parallel computing technique, that provides a good way of accessing supercomputing power with relatively lower cost.

Short CV:Zheng Li received Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Peking University in 2007, M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry at Nanjing University, for work on theory of quantum state-to-state scattering and high precision spectroscopy in 2011 and Ph.D. degree in Physics at Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY)/University of Hamburg for work on Free Electron Laser (FEL) based molecular physics in 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, he was an Ewald Research Fellow at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, USA and DESY, Germany, where he carried out research on the theory for various applications of free electron lasers to molecular and optical physics. At present he is working at Max-Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Germany.
