  简介:
I will describe how to use the most powerful supercomputers to study the matter that made our Universe microseconds after its birth.

Bio:Dr. Mukherjee obtained his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Tata Institute, India, in 2007. After spending a couple of years as a postdoctoral fellow in Bielefeld University, Germany, he joined Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA, where he is a tenured Scientist since 2016. Dr. Mukherjee’s current research interests span through lattice gauge theories, QCD under extreme conditions, out-of-equilibrium QCD, phenomenology of heavy-ion collision experiments, properties and structures of hadrons. Presently, he is also the Project Director of the Beam Energy Scan Theory topical collaboration, leader of the BNL-hub of the Scientific Discovery Through Advance Computing in lattice QCD, and a member of the Scientific Program Committee of the US-based lattice QCD consortium USQCD.
