单细菌表型的高通量表征和控制

摘要: 致病菌在入侵、感染宿主的过程中需要精确调控自身的基因表达,从而完成对宿主的入侵、适应等过程,例如形成生物被膜。所以对病原菌的表型、行为分析是联系其基因特定表达与感染性疾病如何发生的纽带,具有重大科学意义。在此,我将介绍如何通过发展一些高通量的原位表征方法去定量的分析病原菌在单细胞层次的表型,其中包括:细菌运动行为、粘附行为以及社会行为相关的表型以及如何通过大数据分析去理解这些表型在感染性疾病发生中扮演的角色。最后我们将介绍如何通过引入合成生物学的方法去控制这些与感染性疾病发生密切相关的表型。特别需要指出的是,我们所发展对病原菌表型的高通量测量以及大数据分析的手段将极大地拓展人们对病原菌高通量RNA及DNA测序数据的理解,为检测、预防、治疗感染性疾病带来突破性的认识。
个人简介: 金帆教授本科毕业于中国科学技术大学应用化学系 (2002),博士毕业于香港中文大学化学系 (2007), 先后在香港、美国进行了四年博士后研究。于2011年回到中国科学技术大学工作至今。其研究集中于利用交叉学科的研究思路发展新方法对病原菌的行为进行表征以及量化,其多项研究工作发表在具有国际影响力的期刊,得到了学界和社会的关注。金帆教授于2015年获得国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金的支持。
