The main goal of the MASTER-Net project is to produce a unique fast sky survey with all sky observed  over a single  night down to a limiting magnitude of 20-21 mag. All MASTER telescopes can be guided by alerts, and we  observe prompt optical emission from gamma-ray bursts synchronously in several filters and in several polarization planes. Such a survey will make it possible to address a number of fundamental problems: GRB  (neutron stars merging or gravitational collaps of massive stars),multimessanger gravitational wave and high energy neutrino observations, search for dark energy via the discovery and photometry of supernovas (including SNIa),  discovery of minor bodies in the Solar System including Hazard asteroids.  Several bright results of MASTER observations will presented: discovery of prompt optical Gamma-Ray Burst emisson polarisation, Unique Red Nova in M31 detection, V404 Cyg microquasar optical variable polarisetion discovery.

 

Bio:Vladimir Lipunov is a professor of Lomonosov Moscow State University Physics Department. He did his Ph.D at Lomonosov Moscow State University Sternberg Astronomical Institute, USSR(1982).He is a Doctor of Science of Lomonosov Moscow State University Sternberg Astronomical Institute (1991).And Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics Division of Physics Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, since 1993. The head of Space monitoring laboratory of Sternberg Astronomical Institute of Lomonosov MSU, since2010. Vladimir M. Lipunov is the Principal Investigator of MASTER Global Robotic Net –great Russian astrophysical project. The head of Space monitoring laboratory of Sternberg Astronomical Institute of Lomonosov MSU. The leading scientist of Nobel Prized George Smooth Laboratory of Extreme Universe of Skobeltyn Intitute of Nuclear Physics MSU.

His scientific interests are in the field of relativistic and high energy astrophysics: neutron stars, black holes, supernovae, astrophysical sources of gravitational wave sources, gamma-ray bursts, observational appearances of late stages of binary stellar evolution; theoretical investigations of relativistic stars, the PI of Scenario Machine. The robotic astronomy.
