报告摘要: The precise measurement of the angle? of the
?Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) Unitarity Triangle is a central topic
?in flavour physics experiments. Its determination at the subdegree
?level in tree-level open-charm b-hadron decays is theoretically clean
?and provides a standard candle for measurements sensitive to new
?physics effects as accessible through global coherence tests of the
KM ?mechanism, with respect to the Standard Model
expectations. ?In ?addition to the results from the B factories
(i.e. BaBar and Belle), ?various recent measurements from the LHCb
experiment at CERN allow the ?angle? to be determined with an
uncertainty of around 5°. However, no ?single measurement dominates
the world average, as the most accurate ?measurements have an
accuracy of about 10° to 20°. We review ?those recent result
and introduce alternative methods that are ?therefore important to
improve the precision.? Among them, an analysis ?of the decay B?? to
D???*?φ has the potential to make a significant ?impact. ?
报告人简介: Dr. Vincent Tisserand is an expert on ?heavy
flavour physics, especially on CKM angle gamma measurements. ?After
his Ph. D study in Universite Paris 11, he obtained the ?permanent
position in CNRS, France, working on the BaBar experiment. ?He is
currently a member of LHCb experiment and CKMfitter group. Dr.
?Vincent Tisserand led the LHCb group in CNRS Annecy Laboratory of
?Particle Physics (LAPP) from 2012 to 2017 before moving to LPC in
?Clermont Ferrand. He also served as member for many scientific
?committees, such as Editorial board member of the LHCb experiment,
?member of CNRS recruitment committee etc.
