报告摘要:
The international Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) in
?Darmstadt will provide unique research opportunities on the fields of
?nuclear, hadron, atomic and plasma physics . The research program
?devoted to the exploration of compressed baryonic matter will start
?with primary beams from SIS100 (protons up to 29 GeV, Au up to 11A
?GeV, nuclei with Z/A = 0.5 up to 14A GeV) and will be continued with
?beams from SIS300 (protons up to 90 GeV, Au up to 35A GeV, nuclei
with ?Z/A = 0.5。CBM is a high luminosity experiment on FAIR and it
aims to ?investigate rare probes such as charmed hadrons, multiple
strange ?hadrons, di-electrons and di-muons as messengers of the
dense phase of ?strongly interacting matter with unprecedented
accuracy. This is ?achieved by designing all components of the
experiment for an ?interaction rate of 10MHz for the largest reaction
systems. In this ?talk, Prof. Norbert Herrmann will describe the
status of FAIR project, ?the structure of CBM detector. Specially he
will talk the physics ?potential in CBM and future output.
