报告摘要: The Reactor Experiment for Neutrino Oscillation(RENO) started data-taking from August, 2011 and has observed the disappearance of reactor electron antineutrinos to measure the smallest neutrino mixing angle theta13. The experiment has analyzed roughly 2200 days of data to make an accurate measurement of the oscillation amplitude and frequency based on energy and baseline dependent disappearance of reactor antineutrinos. RENO’s precisely measured flux and spectral shape of reactor antineutrinos has shown a deficit in the flux and an excess in the region of 5 MeV relative to the most commonly used model. Furthermore, it has observed fuel-composition dependent variation of reactor antineutrino yield and spectrum. We find that reevaluation of 235U’s antineutrino yield per fission may solve the reactor antineutrino anomaly. We also report a hint of correlation between the 5-MeV excess and the 235U fuel isotope fraction.
报告人简介: RENO中微子实验发言人 1983:Kim then graduated in 1983 and obtained his MS degree from Seoul National University. 1989:Kim received his Ph.D. degree in 1989, based on the successful measurement of solar neutrinos using the Kamiokande-II detector, which confirmed the existence of the solar neutrino problem. 1998:He participated in the historical and first observation of neutrino burst from the Supernova 1987A and jointly discovered the neutrino oscillations using the Super-Kamiokande detector in 1998. 1999:He shared the Asahi Prize in 1999 with Super-Kamiokande collaboration for the observation of atmospheric neutrino oscillation. 2008:He won the 1st Seoul National University's Academic Research Excellence Prize in 2008. 2016:In 2016, he shared the Bruno Pontecorvo Prize with Wang Yifang and Kōichirō Nishikawa.
