Abstract:  

In the first half of the talk I will give an overview of the SYK model and its relation to 2d gravity, which provides a simplest toy model of holographic duality.  

In the second half I will talk about further generalization of this correspondence. More specifically, I will discuss a modified SYK model and its relation to a modified 2d gravity theory with traversable wormholes.
