报告摘要: Benefiting from software triggers for low -pt muons, the LHCb collaboration has obtained a precision below 1e-10 in the BR(Ks->mumu). Although there is no evidence yet for a signal exceeding the background expectation, the data sample would contain 2 signal events should the SM prediction be correct. This could potentially make it the rarest decay ever recorded. 报告人简介: Diego Martínez Santos was awarded the 2013 Young Experimental Physicist Prize, by European Physical Society (EPS) in high energy and particle physics division, for his outstanding contributions to the activation and implementation of the LHCb experiment and the analyzes leading to the first evidence of the rare decay of B0s → μ + μ−. Now he is engaged in search for Ks rare decays at LHCb and applying GPU in high energy physics field. “论坛”主请人联系方式: 张黎明 liming_zhang@tsinghua.edu.cn
