报告摘要: The MicroBooNE experiment was designed primarily to address the anomalous low-energy excess (LEE) in electron neutrino candidates observed by the MiniBooNE experiment and to resolve if the excess is due to neutrino-produced electrons or photons. Located on the same Booster Neutrino Beamline at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory as the MiniBooNE detector, the MicroBooNE Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber utilizes superb imaging and calorimetry capabilities to differentiate electrons from photons which is key to resolving the MiniBooNE excess. A tomographic three-dimensional image reconstruction algorithm, Wire-Cell, is one of the major event reconstruction paradigms deployed in MicroBooNE. In this talk, I will report the latest LEE search results of MicroBooNE based on data taken from February 2016 to July 2018 in inclusive charged-current electron neutrino-induced interactions using data analysis techniques based on the Wire-Cell reconstruction paradigm. 报告人简介: 季向盼,2014年博士毕业于南开大学物理学院。在2015年至2017年期间,在清华大学工程物理系做博士后,从事大亚湾反应堆中微子实验,利用中子氢俘获方法进行中微子振荡测量,对该测量结果有重要贡献。 2018年至今在布鲁克海文国家实验室从事中微子实验。对 PROSPECT 研究型反应堆中微子实验的2018年首次测量结果有重要贡献。目前主要工作在MicroBooNE加速器中微子实验,利用Wire-Cell事例重建方法对低能中微子反常超出(LEE)进行探测,作为主要作者之一,取得2021年MicroBooNE实验上探测LEE的置信度最高的结果。 “论坛”主请人联系方式: 王喆 wangzhe-hep@tsinghua.edu.cn
