Out-of-time-order correlators (OTOCs) are a standard measure of
?quantum chaos. It is known that the early-time OTOC can be described
?by single scramblon diagrams. In this work, we go beyond the
?early-time regime and study the late-time OTOC in SYK-like models. By
?generalizing the traditional large-N expansion, we now find diagrams
?with arbitrary intermediate scramblons contribute at the same order.
?By condensing the scramblon, we are able to determine the scattering
?amplitude between fermions and scramblons. This leads to a neat
result ?for OTOC, which takes the form of inelastic scattering in an
emergent bulk. |
