报告摘要: The first femtosecond laser ablation experiments in the 1990-s demonstrated a tremendous potential for a high quality processing of materials with reduced thermal damage. In recent years advances in lasers, optical elements and electro-mechanical control of the laser machining systems allowed for a high precision laser microfabrication. In this presentation we will review several applications of laser micromachining for advanced accelerator physics research and development. 报告人简介: Dr. Sergey Antipov received his PhD in 2007 from Illinois Institute of Technology. He performed his thesis work at Argonne Wakefield Accelerator Facility of Argonne. Dr. Antipov has been a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory in 2007 - 2009 working between the Chemistry division and High Energy Physics. Since 2010 until 2021 he has been a Director of Radiation Sources at Euclid Techlabs, a microwave engineering company, where he managed a portfolio of commercial and government-funded R&D projects. He has performed experimental work at Argonne, Brookhaven, and SLAC national laboratories as well as at Cornell university and last but not the least at Tsinghua University.
