Abstract:
We describe several coverage and scheduling problems that arise in the intelligent management of heterogeneous sensor networks. We also describe an application to management of a new lunar rover design that is embedded in a sensor network. Fuzzy reasoning, rough sets, and closed-form generalized network models are devised to manage the sensor networks.
