Dr Jennifer Wallace is the author of the recently published book, The Cambridge Introduction to Tragedy (Cambridge University Press). She is a lecturer in English Literature at Cambridge University, and fellow and Director of Studies in English at Peterhouse, Cambridge. She graduated from Cambridge University with a joint degree in Classics and English, and has since held a postdoctoral research fellowship at Clare College, Cambridge, and visiting research posts (Leverhulme Study Abroad fellowship) at the University of California, Berkeley and at Columbia University, New York. Her previous publications include Shelley and Greece: Rethinking Romantic Hellenism (1997) and Digging the Dirt: The Archaeological Imagination (2004).
