演讲人简介：

Dr. Salunkhe obtained his doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry in 1979 from Shivaji University in India. He was selected as Professor of Organic Chemistry in 1995 at The Institute of Science at Mumbai, where he later became Director of the Institute. He joined Shivaji University as Vice-Chancellor in 2004.

The research interests of Dr. Salunkhe include polymeric reagents,

oligo-nucleotides and ionic liquids. He has 117 research publications to his credit, most of them being in international journals. His academic distinctions include honours like the Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry in UK (2002), Member of American Chemical Society, Fellow/Member of Indian Chemical Society.
