Abstract:

The demand for wireless communications is being driven by the increasing value proposition of being connected any time at any place, with any device. This talk will highlight the wireless challenges to meet this demand as well as the problems that result from meeting this demand. One of the challenges to meet this demand, Universal Roaming, will be explored in more detail and will include some of the projects Intel is doing to meet this challenge. The goal of the talk is to present an industry view of the important wireless problems we are currently facing and expect to face as wireless devices proliferate.
