Course Objective:  This course is designed to introduce the most recent developments of biomechanics of living tissues and organs and the relationship between structure and function in living tissues and organs. Application of continuum mechanics to understanding of tissue and organ behavior at microscopic and macroscopic levels will be studied through the series lectures.
