Tang Yiping obtained his B.S. degree (1988) and M. S. degree(1991) in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, and He obtained his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Ottawa, Canada. He proposed the first-order mean spherical approximation (FMSA) closure for the Ornstein-Zernike integral equation. The FMSA has been successfully applied to various fluids, including inhomogeneous cases. Now is working as a senior engineer in Honeywell Process Solutions, Canada.
