  简介:
Professor Chiew’s research interests are in the areas of molecular thermodynamics of fluids/solids, and phase equilibria. His research efforts have focused on expanding the scientific understanding of the thermodynamic behavior and properties of complex fluids and their mixtures involving polymers, electrolytes, supercritical fluids, and pharmaceutical products, and their applications to the petro-chemical, materials processing, and pharmaceutical industries. His recent research activities include: (i) thermodynamics and phase equilibrium of complex fluids and solids, (ii) solubility and particle formation in supercritical fluid systems, (iii) theories for equations of state and self-assembly of chains, and (iv) molecular simulations of chain solids and liquids.
