刘天波教授简介
1994年6月北京大学化学系毕业,获学士学位;1999年5月美国纽约州立大学石溪分校化学系毕业,获博士学位。1999年5月-2001年4月美国纽约州立大学石溪分校化学系博士后。2001年6月-2004年12月美国Brookhaven国家实验室助理研究员、副研究员。2005年1月美国Lehigh大学化学系助理教授, 将于 2009年春正式获终身教授职位.
刘天波教授是2004年海外杰出青年基金获得者。他目前主要从事无机纳米分子与离子的化学与物理的研究。最近,他们发现多酸等无机纳米簇具有不同于小分子的奇特的溶液自组装行为,有关工作在英国《自然》与《美国化学会志》等刊物上发表,并被英国《新科学家》、美国《科学日报》等报刊专文介绍。
