  简介:

ABSTRACT: MEMS is the integration of mechanical elements, sensors, actuators, and electronics on a common silicon substrate through microfabrication technology.  MEMS is an enabling technology allowing the development of smart products, augmenting the computational ability of microelectronics with the perception and control capabilities of microsensors and microactuators and expanding the space of possible designs and applications. NEMS are nanoscale machines forming essentially smaller scale microelectromechanical systems. NEMS typically integrate transistor-based nanoelectronics with mechanical actuators, pumps, motors, or physical, biological, and chemical sensors. Generally, systems have a lateral dimension below 100 nm.  This talk presents the state-of-the-art status of polymer for MEMS and NEMS.
