    Stochastic differential delay equations (SDDEs) have been used widely in many branches of science and industry, in particular in the area of automatic control with emphasis on stability and stabilization. In this talk we will present current developments in study of SDDEs as well as their new trends. The topics covered includes: (1) Existence-and-uniqueness theorems including the Hasminkskii-type theorems; (2) Stability theory including the Razumikhin-type theorems and the LaSalle-type theorem; (3) Stabilization by feedback controls including both non-delay and delay feedback controls; (4) New trends including the numerical methods in the study of stability and stabilization by noise.
