报告摘要：Gamma-ray bursts (GRB) are the most luminous explosions in the universe. I will review the milestones in the GRB field that led to our understanding of the physics of GRBs. In particular, I'll review the recent Fermi observations that suggest that at least for some GRBs the ejecta composition is predominantly in the form of an electromagnetic Poynting flux. In this talk, I will discuss the implications of this discovery for understanding the nature of GRBs.
