1998年“985工程”的正式提出,标志着创建具有世界先进水平的一流大学和一流学科作为我国教育和科技战略的重要发展目标。计划实施十多年来,中国一大批高校获得了国家重点支持,其国际竞争力得到了有效提升。但在产生了一大批具有国家标志的科研成果同时,也开始暴露出大学的知识供给和产业的现实需求严重脱节等新问题。我们能否在产学之间找到有助于合作的共有价值?SCI和EI的文章发表数量能否作为评价一流大学的唯一指标?在产学合作的问题上究竟应该又谁来进行规制?
The currency in the private sector is money. In the academic community, the currency should be scholarship and contribution to knowledge and teaching, but sometimes it becomes prestige and envy. Is it possible and desirable to ascribe a momentary value to these attributes? A common currency seems a pre-requisite for the academic, public and private sectors to cooperate. There is need to develop a better system of regulations for academic staff to work in business and industry projects. This exploration will also shed light on how to improve academic standards in universities. The search for common values is a central issue in how science and technology relate to society. |
