Abstract:
Knowledge explosion is making our scientific life very
stressful and it is increasingly difficulty to make interdisciplinary
discoveries due to the rapid accumulation of knowledge in each
discipline. We try to argue the mathematical analysis of dense networks
could provide means to find similarities of knowledge in different fields.

Research interests: statistical intrusion detection, computer system
vulnerability modeling, high dimensional data clustering for computer
security and modeling, analysis of network control algorithms, fluid
simulation of high speed networks, rational interpolation for QoS in
high speed networks, switch/router analysis, wavelength routing and
restoration, hierarchical simulation method and theory.
