Daniel C. Esty是耶鲁大学环境法与政策Hillhouse教授，在耶鲁大学环境学院与法学院均有教职，并兼任耶鲁大学环境法与政策中心、商业与环境中心主任。此前曾任美国环境保护署高级官员。他的最新获奖著作《从“绿”到“金”：聪明企业如何利用环保战略构建竞争优势》介绍了企业如何通过将环保思维融入其企业战略以创出源源不绝的价值。Esty教授于2002年还获得美国律师协会颁发的环境法与政策研究领域的特殊贡献奖。
Daniel C. Esty is the Hillhouse Professor of Environmental Law and Policy at Yale University. He holds faculty appointments in both Yale’s Environment and Law Schools. He also serves as the Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and the Center for Business & Environment at Yale. Professor Esty is the author or editor of nine books and numerous articles on environmental policy issues. His recent prizewinning book, Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value, and Build Competitive Advantage, argues that pollution control and natural resource management have become critical elements of marketplace success and explains how leading-edge companies have folded environmental thinking into their core business strategies. Prior to taking up his current position at Yale, Professor served in a variety of senior positions on the US Environmental Protection Agency (1989-93). In 2002, Professor Esty received the American Bar Association Award for Distinguished Achievement in Environmental Law and Policy. |
