主讲人简介：
Denis Fourmeau现任欧盟驻北京代表处顾问，近期主要负责中欧能源问题高级对话，曾设计诸多中欧洁净能源与可再生能源合作的项目。
Fourmeau先生曾长期担任国际综合水资源管理办公室副主任，该部门是一个专门进行水资源与供水服务管理的国际NGO组织。他在法国、约旦、以色列以及巴勒斯坦领域和印度尼西亚等国家积累了很多水资源管理的经验。
Fourmeau先生在法国国家公共工程学院（French National School of Public Works）获得土木工程理学硕士，并在巴黎国立桥路大学（ENPC）国际管理学院获得工商管理硕士学位。

As Counsellor at the Delegation of the European Union in Beijing, Denis Fourmeau contributed to the high-level dialogues on energy between China and the EU, and designed several flagship EU-China cooperation projects in clean and renewable energy. Before this, Mr. Fourmeau was during several years the Deputy General Manager of International Office for Water, an international NGO specialized in integrated water resources and water services management. He accumulated extensive experience on Water management issues in France, Jordan, Israel, Palestinian Territories and Indonesia. Mr. Fourmeau holds a M.Sc. (Civil Engineering) from French National School of Public Works, and a MBA from ENPC School of International Management in Paris.

讲座内容简介：

供水服务离不开能源，随着需求、水资源紧张和技术选择的发展，供水服务越来越成为能源密集型产业。另一方面，能源服务也需要水资源，随着能源需求、能源资源竞争、能源技术的发展，能源服务也越来越成为水资源密集型产业。因此，能源和供水服务相互依存，水资源和能源安全密切联系，所以能源和水资源部门所面临的根本问题不是孤立的。经济的快速发展增加了水资源和能源的压力。在本讲座中，Fourmeau先生将对中国水资源和能源政策的异同，及其中国正面临的水资源和能源结构不对称等问题发表他个人的见解。

Energy is necessary to provide water services, and water services become more energy intensive as demand, water stress and technological options advance. At the same time, water is necessary to provide energy services, and these energy services become more water intensive as energy demand, competition for energy resources and technological options advance. Therefore, energy and water services are interdependent, water and energy security are closely linked, and fundamental problems in the energy and water sectors cannot be solved in isolation. As its rapid economic development is increasing the pressure on both water and energy resources, China cannot ignore anymore the water-energy nexus.In its presentation, Mr. Fourmeau will share his personal views on the similarities of the Chinese water and energy policies, as far as resource intensity is concerned, and on the similar structural mismatches China is facing regarding water and energy.
