After teaching and researching for 5 years at Berlin University of Technology, Prof. Marcus Hackel has been appointed full professor in 2009 at Wismar University near Berlin. One of his special fields in teaching and research is "Building Practice". "Building Practice" covers rules and regulations in Germany that guide the design process as well as the tendering process, the building management and the site and quality supervision management.
