CV：Dr. Yang joined Chemical Metrology, Institute for National Measurement
Standards (INMS), National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Ottawa, Canada
in 1996 after she received her BSc and MSc degrees in Analytical Chemistry
from Nanjing University (1987, China) and University of British Columbia
(1993, Vancouver, Canada).  Later she received her PhD degree in Analytical
Chemistry from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) with joint research at
NRC (Ottawa, Canada).  Dr. Yang is currently a Research Officer and the
ICP-MS Lab manager at Chemical Metrology, INMS, NRC. Dr. Yang served as
chair of INMS seminar committee for the period from 2006 to 2008, and is
currently serving as a member and she is Ottawa section chair for the
Canadian Society for Analytical Sciences. Dr. Yang is one of recipients of
NRC’s Outstanding Achievement Award in Research and Technology Development
in 2000. Dr. Yang leads research in mass spectrometry at CM, INMS, NRC and
mainly focused on developing innovative, accurate and precise analytical
methods in the areas of environment and life sciences.
