报告人简介：Prof. Bal Raj Sehgal is from Institute of Nuclear Power Safety, Royal Institute of Technology，Sweden, and he obtained his Master and PhD degrees from University of California at Berkeley in 1957 and 1961, respectively. As a world famous scientist in nuclear engineering, Prof. Sehgal has published 380 papers. Besides nuclear power safety, his interests also cover reactor physics, thorium utilization and so on. Due to the eximious contributions, he was elected as a Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in March 2003. Additionally, Prof. Sehgal is also a member of many Professional Societies, e.g. Fellow of ASME, and Honorary Life Time Member of ANS. |
