Experimental observation of Bose-Einstein Condensation renewed interests in low temperature Bose gas.
One of the most extensively studied subject in the mathematical study of cold Bose gas is its ground state energy.
In this talk, mathematical frameworks to study Bose gas will be introduced. Heuristics arguments and proofs to understand the ground state energy of low-density Bose gas will also be explained.
