报告摘要: The Semi-Digital Hadronic Calorimeter (SDHCAL) is a new calorimeter concept that was developed by the CALICE collaboration for future lepton colliders (ILC, CEPC). SDHCAL uses the high granularity that gaseous detectors such as Glass Resistive Plate Chambers (GRPC) could provide to apply the Particle Flow Algorithms (PFA) to obtain excellent Jet Energy Resolution. In this seminar he will show the different phases of the construction of a large SDHCAL prototype and the results they obtained in several beam tests at CERN. He will also explain the current R&D to transform the SDHCAL into a 5D calorimeter. 报告人简介: Professor Imad Laktineh is the exceptional class university professor of Lyon1 University, France, chairman of the international CALICE Collaboration steering board/institution board from 2015-2020, leader and initiator of the CALICE SDHCAL project, chairman of the CMS RPC institution board from 2016-2019, chairman of the France-China particle physics laboratory steering board, co-convener of the International Large Detector (ILD) calorimeters, co-convener of the innovative gaseous detectors of the European project AIDA2020, and also the leader of the French Master Project PICMIC. Professor I. Laktineh has 2 published patents and two additional patents have been accepted.
