Professor Elizabeth H. Simmons简介

Professor Elizabeth H. Simmons is currently the Director of Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University (MSU). She is famous for her works in elementary particle theory, especially the Electroweak Symmetry Breaking and Flavor Physics. She was a faculty member of Boston University during 1993-2003 before she became a Director at MSU in 2003. She obtained her Master Degree at University of Cambridge in 1986 and her PhD degree at Harvard University in 1990.
Among her numerious honors and awards, here are a few for examples:
Fellow of American Physical Society (elected in 2002);
NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award (1990-1995);
DOE Outstanding Junior Investigator Award (1995-1999);
NSF Faculty Early Career Development Award (1995-1998);
AAUW American Curie-Fellowship (1993-1994);
