报告人简介: Dr. Jia Li(李佳) Dr. Jia Li is a lecturer in low carbon energy at the University of Exeter. Her main research interests include the process design and optimisation in post-combustion capture, gasification in pre-combustion capture, water consumption in CO2 capture, CO2 capture ready design, planning and retrofit. In the past five years, she has contributed to a number of International low carbon research projects and commercial initiatives, including UK-China Chinese Advanced Power Plants Carbon Capture Options Project (CAPPCCO). She is a co-author of IEA GHG study on retrofitting power plants with CO2 capture. Dr. Li is also frequently acting as energy technology advisor for a number of Chinese and multilateral institutes. She holds a PhD degree (in mechanical engineering, CO2 Capture), a master degree (in process technology) and a bachelor degree (in mechanical engineering). 报告内容: The study analyses the CCS retrofitting potential of coal-fired power plants in China, building on the findings of a recently published IEA GHG report on retrofitting power plants with CO2 capture. A preliminary investigation of over 100 large power plants in China was conducted to determine their potential for a retrofit with CO2 capture, transport and storage. Factors assessed included geographic location, space on site, plant layout, water restrictions, coal supply, efficiency, FGD status and potential access to storage sites. Based on these criteria, retrofitting prospects were evaluated and ranked. Critical factors that would preclude capture retrofit are, not surprisingly, access to storage sites and unsuitable plant layout and/or space on site. In principle, plants would be retrofitted in an order that reflects the extent to which these site specific factors would give higher or lower capture costs. The results also provide an overview of the potential issues that need to be considered by stakeholders, policy makers and manufacturing companies when deciding the market potential for CCS retrofit technology in China. 联系人:康重庆 教授 |
