High frame rate system is essential for imaging fast moving objects such as the heart. Newer imaging methods that display tissue property images require extremely high image frame rate. In this talk, methods to obtain high frame rate images for both two-dimensional and three-dimensional imaging will be introduced. Formulas of the methods will be derived and their applications in medical imaging will be demonstrated.
