Dr. Masashi Kamon (Japan)简历

Dr. Masashi Kamon had been Professor of Environmental Geotechnics, Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University since 1991 and now is the Dean of Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University. He is engaged in the research field of ground improvement, geohazard and environmental geotechnics, and organized the Second International Congress on Environmental Geotechnics in Osaka 1996. He also contributed to organize the 16th ICSMGE, which was held in Osaka 2005. He was awarded the Society Award for Authors by the Japan Society of Material Science in 1991 and 1997, and by the Japanese Geotechnical Society in 2004. He has published more than 150 papers in International and National Journals and Conferences in the geotechnical field during his illustrious career.
