摘要：In this talk I will first review the classical Riemann problem for hyperbolic conservation laws in one spatial variable and state its role in theory, application and computation. Then I continue to introduce the Riemann problem for compressible Euelr equations in two spatial dimensions. In particular, some recent progress with Tong Zhang and Yuxi Zheng will be emphasized.
