An upcoming international workshop focusing on “Superlubricity: Fundamental and applications” will be held on October 18-20 2015 in Beijing. The aim of the Workshop is to discuss recent scientific results on different aspects of superlubricity at nano- up to meso-scale, including dry and lubricated frictional contacts, and to formulate important unresolved problems. The topics to be covered include:
- Superlubricity in dry and lubricated contacts
- Superlubricity under ambient conditions
- Towards microscale superlubricty
- New materials exhibiting super-low friction
- Dynamical superlubricity
