报告摘要
An optical coherent state can be interpreted as an even superposition of basis states of a qudit with arbitrary integer d if the amplitude of coherent state is larger than d. Cross-phase modulation (Cross-Kerr nonlinear interaction) can maximally entangle two such qudits and this entangling process can be extended to a qudit communication network which can be used for quantum cryptography and quantum teleportation for any two users on the network.
