报告摘要:To achieve higher thermal efficiency and specific power of modern gas turbines, increasing turbine inlet temperature becomes imperative. While turbine inlet temperature is far beyond the yielding point of the structural components, advanced turbine cooling technologies become necessary. Film cooling has been used in the past few decades as an active method to reduce temperature of turbine components. This work mainly introduces the characteristics the design factors of film cooling in gas turbine.
报告人介绍:
Dr. Luzeng Zhang worked in Solar Turbines Incorporatedfrom 1993 to 2006, andhe has been the Sr. Consulting Engineer there. He has worked as gas turbine hot component designer and industrial researcher and designed cooled airfoils and secondary flow systems. He has done many research work on film cooling, internal/external heat transfer, engine tests, etc. The publications list in well-recognised journals, books and proceedings. He has been ASME Member for more than 22 years and has more than 23 years of Working Experience.
