The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) recently published a document guiding the agency's future investments in cyberinfrastructure. Cyberinfrastructure enables distributed knowledge communities that collaborate and communicate across disciplines, distances and cultures. This talk will describe main elements of NSF's cyberinfrastructure vision, and highlight a set of initiatives underway in NSF reflecting NSF's commitment to realizing the cyberinfrastructure vision. The talk will describe select programs and activities supported in NSF's Office of Cyberinfrastructure.
