报告摘要:

This presentation will first introduce SETCom’s scope, goals, and its activities. Then, EMC standards worldwide will be presented including major standards making entities. Finally, detail procedures for developing IEEE EMC standards are provided.

报告人简介:

Dr. Ye has been Project Leader & Research Scientist, Communications Research Centre Canada since 2002, and Adjunct Professor, Electronics Department, Carleton University since 2003, both in Ottawa, Canada. He was Research and Development Engineer, Zeland Software, Inc., Fremont, California, USA. He is Chair for EMC Standards Education and Training Committee (SETCom) of IEEE EMC Society. He has been appointed General Chair for IEEE International Symposium on EMC 2016 Ottawa and was Conference Chair for the International Association of Science & Technology Development (IASTED) International Conference on Wireless Communications 2011, June 1-3, Vancouver, Canada. He has authored a book Numerical Methods for Electromagnetic Scattering by Large Structures: from Progressive Numerical Method to Projection Iterative Method, co-authored a book chapter “Characteristics of an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Butterfly-Shaped Monopole Antenna,” in Book Ultra Wideband Communications: Novel Trends – Antennas and Propagation, and edited a book Wireless Communications. He received Ph.D. in Applied Electromagnetics from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada in 2000.
