讲座概述:Lectures in Computational Tire Mechanics
The field of computational tire mechanics is wide and important for current design and research in tire and automotive industry. The envisaged series of lectures is intended to give a general overview and deeper introduction into this important and specialized field.
 
Lecture 1 Introduction to computational engineering of tires (90 minutes)
The first lecture is meant to introduce and to span a wide field of topics which might be
tackled and to show current capabilities in computational mechanics applied to tires. The presentation covers continuum mechanical modelling of elastomers, fracture mechanics of polymers and specific simulation approaches in order to characterize the structural behavior of the tire at its specific loading conditions.
