Direct and indirect dark matter searches will be reviewed. Several interesting theoretical models giving rise to annihilating and decaying dark matter candidates will be discussed. For annihilating dark matter, the possibility of obtaining stringent model-independent constraints from Fermi-LAT inner Galaxy measurements, will also be analyzed.
